Premium Auditor RLD Associates, Inc. is hiring a full-time, home-based Premium Auditor. The auditor will work independently in the field, meeting with various businesses to conduct insurance premium audits, reviewing accounting records and conducting thorough interviews to validate assigned business types and associated premiums.

Location:

Rochester, NY (travel 3-4 days per week)

Responsibilities

Review audit requests and prioritize inventory.

Schedule workload and contact named insured to arrange on-site interviews.

Research and apply appropriate manual rules and classifications to comply with insurance industry standards.

Prepare written audit reports that include data analysis, calculations, and classifications.

Qualifications

Ability to work independently.

Dependable and self‑motivated.

Excellent communication skills.

Strong computer skills, proficient in Microsoft Excel.

Pleasant yet professional personality.

Two‑year degree in accounting or related subject preferred; experience in bookkeeping, payroll, and commercial insurance considered.

Reliable transportation for required travel.
