Lead Material Planner – GE Aerospace
Lead Materials Planning & Execution Specialist will coordinate and expedite the flow of materials (from suppliers and within departments) according to production schedules for assigned part family group. The role plans and schedules material and production needs, impacting departmental operations. It carries some autonomy but focuses on executing activities within standard functional practices and procedures.
Roles and Responsibilities
Manage master planning, material processes and systems; prepare and update production schedules and purchasing needs.
Ensure operational alignment with production plan and KPIs.
Optimize inventory and drive process improvements.
Utilize prior experience and technical expertise to execute policy and strategy.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college, or a high school diploma/GED with a minimum of 4 years experience in manufacturing, materials, production planning, sourcing or supply chain operations.
Minimum of 3 years experience in manufacturing, materials, production planning, sourcing or supply chain operations, or GE Leadership Program Graduate in lieu of experience.
