Shift Leader
– an exciting opportunity to lead a team in a fast‑paced sandwich shop while delivering outstanding customer service.
Responsibilities
Coach the staff to deliver amazing customer service
Produce high‑quality food and maintain the Jersey Mike’s experience
Handle cash responsibly and enforce financial procedures
Follow the Learning Management System Training Program and develop team members for career growth
Enforce company policies and procedures and participate in local and national marketing initiatives
Build sales through excellent service and upselling
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation practices throughout the establishment
Be certified in all four restaurant positions
Communicate effectively with the GM/AGM/DM about any operational issues
Lead by example in quality of food, interaction with customers, and appearance (clean, fitted, pressed uniform)
Move or transport up to 50 lbs without assistance (unless a medical notation applies)
Work 38–40 hours per week; be able to get to and from work
Serve Safe certification – Food Handler (or applicable certifications)
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
One year of QSR experience preferred
Must be 18 years or older to operate the slicer
Reliable transportation required
Willingness to work a fast‑paced, team‑driven environment
Good understanding of accountability and integrity principles
