is an integrated behavioral healthcare agency offering residential, outpatient, inpatient, patient‑centered medical homes, medication‑assisted treatment, and crisis services for individuals experiencing crisis, opioid use disorder, homelessness, and mental illness.
Job Summary The PSS provides experience, strength, and hope to individuals, their families, and significant others presenting for care to minimize the emotional impact of treatment and increase the likelihood of recovery and continued care once discharged. The PSS also assists in the transition to the most appropriate level of care available in conjunction with the established treatment team, ensuring coordination of care and involving family and other social supports identified in the treatment plan. The PSS works as part of a multidisciplinary team including an RN, PCT, Behavioral Health Clinician, and supervisory and administrative supports.
Skills & Requirements
High‑school diploma or GED required. Associate Degree or higher preferred.
Minimum of six months of recovery from substance use and/or mental health disorders required.
Health‑care related experience preferred but not required.
Valid identification required.
Possesses a Certified Peer Support Specialist certification (for Screening and Assessment programs only).
