Job Summary Assists in maintaining the facilities’ vehicles and equipment in reliable operation and good repair, performing a variety of routine general and preventative maintenance duties, and maintaining required records.
Job Requirements
High School Education/GED or equivalent: Preferred
Associate’s/Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Preferred
Relevant mechanical maintenance experience: Preferred
Licenses/Certifications
Valid Driver’s License (DL) and must be at least 21 years of age or older: Required
Essential Functions
Plan and perform a wide variety of routine general mechanical repairs and services; alter and repair vehicles or equipment in accordance with basic skills, manufacturers’ instructions and standard procedures.
Inspect and perform preventative maintenance and safety tests as required; correct problems and promptly report equipment/system operation problems to the supervisor.
Maintain a record of service cycles and other maintenance activities conducted; keep preventative maintenance records, reports and files as required.
Maintain tools and supplies necessary to perform duties.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
