POSITION SUMMARY
Rare Beauty Manager, Fulfillment Operations, is responsible for fulfillment operations ensuring flawless end‑to‑end order processing. This position is responsible for managing the requirements of our customers, achieving the service targets of the brand, and optimizing finished good inventory flow in partnership with retailers. This role will be critical in optimizing Rare Beauty operations to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment, driving process improvement, and helping the team meet or exceed the company’s monthly financial target.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage customer accounts and its supply chain.
Execute incoming B2B and internal orders, including entering orders in ERP system, validating accuracy of order data, communicating and following through with any order discrepancies, and processing required order acknowledgements.
Work closely with the Account, Brand and Finance teams to ensure they are informed of significant risks to inventory availability and issues with specific customers.
Ensure all export shipping documentation is created accurately and in accordance with processing times.
Develop and communicate any SKUs at service risk on a monthly basis to customers.
Be the expert in your customer supply chain, being able to brief team on any changes to partner requirements.
Support Director of Fulfillment Operations in management of the 3PL warehouse relationship to ensure order processing and resolve any issues.
Own chargeback management and submit disputes where possible.
Partner with cross‑functional teams to streamline processes and resolve issues related to order fulfillment. Work with internal teams to coordinate shipments of product for PR/Sales initiatives.
Lead daily call with 3PL, update order status on Open Orders report, and review order data with leadership on a weekly basis.
Develop and implement strategies to optimize order fulfillment processes, including order processing, picking, packing, and shipping.
Assist with EDI implementation to drive process efficiency.
Support Director of Fulfillment Operations with key performance indicators (KPIs) driven by partner targets and expectations; KPIs include but are not limited to order fill rate, order cycle time, order lead time and working capital.
Create and maintain SOPs as needed.
Other tasks as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s Degree with emphasis in Business, Supply Chain, or other related fields.
Minimum 3–5 years of demonstrated experience in Operations, Distribution, or Supply Chain Management, preferably in CPG or beauty.
Highly analytical and pays close attention to details.
Exceptional organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Comfortable presenting to both senior leaders and peers – able to drive message and action across all levels of the organization.
Demonstrated ability to interact with stakeholders in a thoughtful and attentive manner.
Proactive, decisive, results‑oriented, with ability to manage priorities and remove barriers.
People leadership skills with ability to coach, develop, inspire, engage, and empower others.
Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Teams), import mapping, and data analysis.
Experience with ERP & EDI systems, particularly NetSuite and SPS Commerce, preferred.
