Instructor/Assistant Professor, Business Management Anne Arundel Community College (AACC), located near historic Annapolis, Maryland, is a fully accredited public two‑year college that offers degrees, certificates, and transfer pathways. The Business Management department is seeking a faculty member for a 10‑month, tenure‑track position that includes a flexible teaching schedule (day, evening, weekend, in‑person, hybrid, and online) and requires regular on‑campus presence. The contract dates are August 16, 2026 – June 15, 2027, with a teaching load of five courses (15 faculty load hours) per semester at the Arnold, MD main campus and off‑site locations such as local high schools.

Responsibilities

Teach and assess student learning across a five‑course load each semester, including face‑to‑face, online, hybrid, and off‑site instruction.

Offer six office hours per week for advising and mentoring.

Engage in professional development.

Participate in departmental, school, and college/state community service.

Design, format, and deliver accessible curriculum for all learning modalities.

Develop and implement engaged learning programs for students and community members.

Recruit, market, and devise retention strategies and activities.

Mentor students and new faculty.

Establish and strengthen relationships with public schools, baccalaureate colleges, chambers of commerce, and other community partners.

Required Qualifications

Master’s degree in business or a related field.

Experience teaching at the college level.

Preferred Qualifications

At least two years of teaching introductory business courses (100/200 level).

Professional experience in at least one concentration area: business communications, general management, human resources, marketing, small business management, supply chain management, or transportation/logistics.

Experience delivering instruction using various delivery modes.

Experience in a community college environment.

Language proficiency beyond English (bilingual).
