Position Summary Customer Service Representatives receive quotation and order requests from customers, prepare and adjust orders, and provide support to the Outside Sales Team. They coordinate with other departments, manage purchase orders, and ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
Primary Duties
Receive telephone, email, fax, or walk‑in requests for price quotations, orders, changes, and cancellations from domestic customers, OEMs, and distributors.
Provide support to the Outside Sales Team.
Use ERP systems to retrieve customer information, stock status, purchase order status, and to make purchase‑order changes, ensuring accurate codes.
Track and follow up on inquiries, quotations, and orders through the ERP system, coordinating with suppliers and warehouse expeditors for scheduled shipments.
Interface with suppliers on technical, pricing, and delivery issues in a timely manner.
Assist accounts receivable with payment and credit hold issues.
Address and resolve customer requests and complaints with a positive, creative approach.
Collaborate with all appropriate departments to ensure customer satisfaction.
Basic Requirements
Must be over the age of 18.
Excellent written and oral communication and strong relationship‑building skills.
Detail oriented with solid organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast‑paced work environment.
Strong computer skills (MS Office). Willingness to learn new software; experience with P21 is a plus.
Previous background with parts and nomenclature knowledge and a proven ability to work well with customers and suppliers.
Experience with distribution and familiarity with product lines is a plus.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
Primarily office work, with possible exposure to warehouse, manufacturing, and other operational environments.
Warehouse operations may involve moving equipment, fluctuating temperature, and storage variations.

Salary $27 - $31 per hour, depending on experience.
