Responsibilities
Work with DEV/NPI/engineering, suppliers, and materials team in quoting, procuring, and vendor set‑up for new product introduction and support production needs.
Coordinate with the materials production team for line capacity prioritization at suppliers.
Support supply‑chain and cost‑down initiatives prior to transferring to other sites.
Quote, procure, and support mezzanine material pipeline.
Handle vendor set‑up, create purchase orders, ensure correct shipping method, receive product, and clear supplier invoices.
Provide and support suppliers with documentation and testing requirements.
Provide feedback from engineering to supplier.
Attend and update weekly NPI/DEV/transfer meetings on expected delivery and qualification status on new tooling.
Create and manage internal purchase orders.
Work with planning to ensure all demand is covered.
Perform various other duties as required.
Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar position in a manufacturing environment.
Ability to work in a dynamic team environment.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure.
Analytical problem‑solving capacity.
Understanding of AX Material Handling and system usage.
