SUMMARY Responsible for overall front office activities, including the reception area, mail, large purchasing requests and facilities. Also responsible for directing and coordinating office services and related activities, including developing and supervising programs for the maximum utilization of services and equipment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervises and coordinates overall administrative activities for the area office, including plant accounting, contract management, payroll, and job cost reporting.
Accurate monthly reporting of all job costs and general ledger activity
Coordinating/producing accurate & timely daily job cost reports every morning
Accountable for accurate monthly reporting of all inventory quantities & unit costs, including reviewing inventory adjustments with Area Manager and posting those adjustments
Supervises the office’s day-to-day operations, including maintaining the security system, maintenance of office equipment, purchase of office supplies, housekeeping, arranging internal office moves, and providing arrangements for office meetings
Participates as needed in special department projects
Additional duties/responsibilities as defined by the supervisor
Qualifications
Associate degree in Accounting/Business preferred and three (3) to five (5) years of experience in office management and understanding of project accounting and administration procedures
Supervisory experience preferred
Strong quantitative and analytical skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Problem‑solving skills with attention to detail
Self‑motivated; ability to work independently
Good written and verbal communication skills
High degree of attention to detail
