Deutsch Family Wine & Spirits is seeking a

Senior Analyst, Commercial Insights - Performance . This role is a key member of the Performance Management team and is responsible for Business Performance Reporting and Analytics, including all National Program Communication and Measurement for Deutsch Family Wine & Spirits. Candidate must have strong technical skills, keen attention to detail and be an independent thinker. The role requires daily cross‑function collaboration and excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as proactive problem‑solving skills and the ability to plan and manage multiple projects to a timeline. This role reports to the Director of Commercial Insights - Performance and works remotely but is ideally located in the Tri‑State or Dallas area.

Responsibilities

Manage all aspects of National Program Communication and Measurement, including announcements, goal capture, process management and tracking; delivering program documentation on time in an easy‑to‑read format to the organization.

Provide support to the Director – CI Performance Management on program measurement and evaluation process by completing preliminary analyses to assist in defining appropriate metrics and benchmarks for all national programs to optimize the value of each program/incentive and in the evaluation of program effectiveness.

Own the fundamental design of goal capture and program tracking tools ensuring reporting creates the appropriate sense of urgency, big thinking and strategic focus.

Proactively identify risks and opportunities to overall program strategy from goal setting through program period as well as impact to national plan at the market level and address with CI – Distributor and the appropriate members of the sales team as necessary.

Develop and maintain national performance reporting in support of organizational strategic priorities and annual plan.

Technical Acumen

Development and automation of performance reporting within a data lake, moving away from Excel reporting and leveraging approved technology for on‑demand self‑service data and report access for all areas of the organization.

Ability to bridge the gap between organizational data and reporting needs and the IT department, ensuring IT delivers the most effective data reporting to support corporate strategy.

Ensure data integrity of all performance and program reporting. Ability to independently identify data quality issues in internal reporting and data systems and problem‑shoot to resolve in a timely manner.

Supervise the Go Spot Check / Form.com day‑to‑day relationship, ensuring national missions are properly created within Form.com and rolled out to our distributor partners.

Contribute to data democratization at DFWS with recommendations to standardize our approach to sharing all commercial and shopper information and insights with clearly defined credibility, analytic, visual and delivery standards.

Collaboration & Communication

Collaborate with all levels of the sales organization including GMs, VP – Distributor Performance, SVP – Commercial Marketing, Sales Advisory Committee and Commercial Insights Leadership Team to ensure programming measurement is aligned to corporate strategy.

Serve as day‑to‑day contact for the sales team on questions, challenges and adjustments on programming strategies, goal setting, measurement and performance reports.

Collaborate with IT on development and automation of both program and performance tracking opportunities.

Support the annual planning process by providing CI – Distributor and field sales with insight into future programming and its incremental impact at the market level as well as development of necessary planning support tools.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.

Experience: 3‑5+ years working in a data and analytics capacity in CPG, preferably within Beverage Alcohol.

Technical Skills: Excellent SQL, Excel and PowerPoint skills. Macro, Power Pivot and Power Query experience preferred.

Analytics Tools: Cognos and Syndicated data mining, reporting, and analysis experience; Circana preferred.

Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Required Skills

Strong interpersonal savvy with experience managing multiple internal and external stakeholders; ability to collaborate effectively with others and manage competing priorities.

Adaptability and flexibility; able to manage measurement changes with minimal disruption to deliverable timelines.

Ability to develop and manage scope, timeline, work plan and deliverables for projects; manage incoming project requests and maintain project queue.

Extremely creative thinking with intellectual curiosity, a passion for problem‑solving, a test‑and‑learn mentality who thrives in ambiguity.

Excellent Excel, data mining and report development skills required.

Vision‑oriented and focused individual who requires little direction or supervision. High energy level and enthusiasm are critical to support the fast‑paced, high demand environment.
