Navy's Continuous Training Environment (NCTE)
program and contribute to the evolution of warfighter readiness. We provide critical engineering and technical expertise for the U.S. Navy's premier
Live, Virtual, Constructive (LVC)
training capability. Our work involves seamlessly integrating live training with synthetic systems to create highly realistic and complex global training environments. We also drive the development of advanced representations for joint, theater, and national systems, and model new weapons technologies and emerging threats, ensuring our forces are prepared for any challenge.
Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate the scoping, technical requirements gathering, estimating, and planning for single or multiple projects or work streams.
Coordinate systems development for major applications, define project requirements including information and data needs, business analysis and programming.
Coordinate all meetings and interface with business units, staff and service providers.
Direct and manage project development from beginning to end while defining the project scope, goals and deliverables.
Determine if external consultants or contractors should be added to the internal project and/or development team(s) in order to successfully complete the project.
Daily Management and coordination of all technical and logistical aspects of a project including timelines, risks, risk mitigation strategies, action items and change requests.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and 7+ years of relevant Project Management experience, or an Associate's degree and 10+ years of relevant Project Management experience, or a High School Diploma and 13+ years of relevant Project Management experience.
Experience with planning and developing project schedule.
Experience with resource management.
Experience with managing cost, schedule, and performance.
Preferred Qualifications
PMP Certification.
Prior experience with Navy.
Prior experience with Navy Continuous Training Environment program.
Clearance Requirements
US Citizenship required and an Active Secret Security clearance.
Physical Requirements
Up to 25% travel required or as needed.
Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.
The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
