Operate company delivery vehicles to deliver parts and products to professional customers. Use hand-held fleet management devices to process deliveries, capture signatures, update mileage, and complete daily vehicle inspections. Maintain vehicle cleanliness, secure keys and fuel/fleet credit cards, and keep monetary collections secure. Pick up customer returns (new, warranty, cores) and complete driver return slips. Communicate customer issues or special needs to store management and report vehicle maintenance needs, accidents, or damage immediately. Ensure fuel tank is filled and lock and secure vehicle at end of day. Clock in/out according to company policy. Assist customers, serve as cashier, and perform merchandising tasks as business dictates. Complete additional duties as assigned, including customer service, sweeping, general stocking and straightening stock, merchandising, running errands, handling core returns, checking in and putting up stock orders, etc. Qualifications
Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences. Strong interpersonal communication skills. Adapt quickly to changing delivery situations. Driving record must meet the 14/18-point standard in the company’s record system. Must possess a legally required state driver’s license and meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements. Desired
Familiar with automotive parts. Ability to operate other light store equipment. Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired). Compensation
