Regional Business Development Manager (Hunter) Multiple Regions Available – Candidates can live in the KC Metro area or any state in our network (SC, LA, IL, PA).

Are you a driven sales professional with a hunter’s mindset and a passion for winning new business? Superior Signals Inc. (SSI), a leading B2B distributor and manufacturer of safety lighting and after-market industrial parts, is seeking an experienced Regional Business Development Manager to help drive growth across our expanding markets.

This role is all about building new relationships, opening doors, and setting the stage for long-term success. You’ll be focused on identifying new opportunities, developing strategic sales approaches, and closing deals—while partnering closely with our Account Management team to ensure a smooth and successful handoff for ongoing client relationships.

What You’ll Do:

Identify and pursue new business opportunities in your assigned region through cold outreach, networking, and market research.

Conduct discovery meetings to understand client needs and tailor proposals that demonstrate real value.

Collaborate with Account Managers to ensure seamless client onboarding and a strong start to every new partnership.

Stay on top of industry trends and market shifts to uncover fresh opportunities.

Represent SSI at trade shows and networking events to expand your pipeline and elevate brand visibility.

Maintain accurate records in Salesforce and report on progress, performance, and insights to leadership.

What You’ll Bring:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or equivalent experience.

At least 5 years of experience in a hunter-style business development role, preferably within industrial lighting, material handling, or aftermarket parts.

Proven success meeting or exceeding sales targets.

Excellent communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills.

Proficiency with CRM systems like Salesforce.

A strategic, self-directed mindset with a passion for results.

Willingness to travel up to 75%; in-office presence required when not on the road.
