Customer Service & E-Commerce Supervisor - Full Time Whole Foods Market

invites you to apply for the Customer Service & E-Commerce Supervisor position. In this role you will support the Customer Service & E-Commerce programs, leading processes that support the checkout experience and grocery delivery & pickup at your assigned store. You will focus on driving safety, quality of outbound online orders, excellent pickup experience, team productivity, and program execution while monitoring key performance indicator metrics and visual cues in‑store to assess team performance.

Base Pay Range $15.50/hr – $29.20/hr

Job Responsibilities

Deliver outstanding customer experience and hold all Team Members accountable for exemplary service.

Establish clear expectations for balancing in‑store customer service and completing online orders.

Monitor in‑store and online customer flow; assign customer‑service‑related and online‑order completions, balancing the needs of all customers.

Seek awareness of relevant competitors and industry trends.

Ensure an effective and responsive solution to customer questions, requests, and concerns.

Support collaborative relationships with departmental leaders, store leadership, and 1P/3P partners such as Amazon delivery drivers.

Foster a positive environment of teamwork, mutual respect, and high morale.

Maintain Team Member safety and security standards.

Ensure compliance with regulatory rules and standards.

Develop, coach, mentor, and motivate Team Members to sustain high performance and reduce turnover.

Maintain cleanliness of workspaces, staging area, and coolers.

Secure equipment, e.g., MSRs, phones, currency counters.

Proactively identify process‑improvement opportunities.

Consistently communicate and model WFM core values, leadership principles, and support goals.

Job Skills

Task management ability to balance dynamic customer flows.

Strong analytical skills to root‑cause underperformance based on metrics.

Excellent interpersonal, motivational, team‑building, and customer‑relationship skills.

Ability to teach others positively and constructively.

Proficiency with email, Microsoft Office, and operations‑related applications.

Qualifications

12+ months retail experience.

Physical Requirements / Working Conditions

Must lift 50 lbs.

Stand/walk 6–8 hours in an 8‑hour workday.

Use hand for single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling.

Perform bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching.

Exposure to FDA‑approved cleaning chemicals.

Exposure to temperatures

90°F.

Work in wet and cold environment.

Work flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Use tools and equipment such as box cutters, electric pallet jacks, and other heavy machinery.

Benefits The wage range for this position is $15.50–$29.20 hourly, commensurate with experience.
