Imagine your first 90 days at Re:Build — New Kensington

You’re embedded with engineering, quality, and program teams, shaping sourcing strategies that turn concepts into manufacturable products. You’ve qualified suppliers who can meet DFARS, ITAR, and AS9100 demands, negotiated quotes that protect margins and timelines, and established airtight documentation for program gates and audits. That’s the kind of impact we expect—and support—at Re:Build Manufacturing in New Kensington, PA.

We are a family of industrial and engineering businesses building America’s next-generation manufacturing platform. Our portfolio spans product and systems design, automation, fabrication, assembly, and high-volume contract manufacturing for customers in aerospace, defense, mobility, healthcare, pharma, biotech, clean tech, chemicals, energy, lifestyle, food production, and industrial equipment. We move fast, operate with principle, and use deep technical expertise and strategic M&A to accelerate results.

Your challenge

How will you align sourcing strategy to program milestones while balancing cost, lead time, and compliance?

Which suppliers can prototype today and scale tomorrow—and how will you validate their capability?

Where will you find value through RFQ structuring, quote analysis, and negotiations without risking schedule?

What you’ll do

Partner cross-functionally to architect sourcing plans tied to program gates.

Scout, assess, and onboard suppliers for prototype and production phases, maintaining DFARS, ITAR, and AS9100 adherence.

Lead RFQs/RFPs, perform cost modeling and quote analysis, and negotiate to meet budget and schedule objectives.

Own accurate BOM cost projections and rigorous sourcing records for reviews and audit readiness.

Monitor supplier performance, manage risk, and contribute to make‑vs‑buy and capability assessments.

Join design and manufacturability reviews to assure supplier readiness and scalability at launch.

Drive continuous improvement, cost optimization, and innovation across the supply network.

What you bring

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related area.

5–8+ years in sourcing, procurement, or supplier engineering; NPI/NPD exposure strongly preferred.

Experience in aerospace, defense, automotive, or advanced electronics manufacturing.

Strength in sourcing strategy, contracting and negotiations, supplier management, and cost analysis.

Comfort with DFARS, ITAR, and AS9100.

Proficiency with ERP/sourcing tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Ariba, Infor) and Microsoft Office.

Work setup: Onsite presence is preferred; a hybrid arrangement may be considered for the ideal candidate.
