Overview Kimley-Horn is looking for a Venue Sourcing and Vendor Coordinator to join our growing team in our Raleigh, NC office. This role will provide unparalleled customer service to exceed internal client goals and build relationships. This is an in-office position.
Responsibilities
Support venue (meetings and room block) sourcing
Review and distribute hotel contracts
Gather event and meeting room requirements and advise internal teams on best practices
Support transient travel sourcing
Engage with firm vendors, conduct research, and gather insights
Balance tasks and timelines internal to the team and in partnership with our clients
Facilitate, build, and maintain proactive relationships with firm colleagues
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a related field or 1+ years relevant experience
Experience working in a fast paced environment, balancing competing priorities
Ability and interest to learn new software and build skills
Strong organizational and time management skills
Exceptional interpersonal skills to instill confidence and build rapport across teams
High attention to detail
Exceptional client service mentality and strong work ethic
Excellent communication skills – Ability to communicate clearly with verbal, written, and listening skills
Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook
Ability to work as an individual contributor and as a valued participant in a team-based environment
Perform other duties as assigned
