Maintenance Technician
to join our team at a brand‑new, lease‑up apartment community located in Riverside, CA.

Essential Functions
Respond to common area and resident requests for maintenance and service by taking appropriate action to repair and/or restore service within the quality and time standards established by the organization.
Maintain the overall appearance and cleanliness of the community as assigned, ensuring that grounds, amenities, building exteriors, units, breezeways, curbs, signage, leasing office, garbage areas, parking lots, and other common areas are free of debris, trash, graffiti and other items affecting the appearance of the community.
Ensure that apartments are ready for occupancy as directed by the Service Manager. Perform tasks as needed, including electrical, HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, appliance repair, carpet cleaning, painting and other maintenance activities.
Maintain tools, equipment, and workspace; keep them organized and in proper working order, request replacements, and assist in stocking the inventory.
Provide superior customer service to internal and external customers.
Comply with all Company policies and procedures related to employment.
Commit to living the UDR values in every action taken when executing the essential functions of the job.
Perform other duties as assigned or as necessary.
Experience, Knowledge, and Skills
Maintenance experience in multi‑family, hospitality, or similar industry.
Competency in residential plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, painting, and drywall.
Knowledge of and experience in HVAC and carpentry a plus.
Customer service experience.
Proficiency with modern technology, especially computers and smartphones.
Valid driver’s license and readiness for rotating on‑call responsibility.
Education
High school or equivalent (preferred).
EPA Type II or Universal certification (preferred).
