Position Summary
The Manufacturing Production Team Leader is responsible for overseeing daily production operations of their assigned team. They ensure that safety, quality, and production goals are met while leading and coaching a team of operators and technicians. This role requires strong leadership skills, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to continuous improvement. Job Responsibilities
This position is responsible for, but not limited to, the following: Production Management
Supervise and coordinate manufacturing operations to meet production schedules. Monitor workflow, resource allocation, and production output to ensure efficiency. Troubleshoot issues that arise during production and implement corrective actions.
Team Leadership & Development
Lead, train, and mentor production team members to improve performance and morale. Conduct team meetings to communicate goals, expectations, and safety procedures. Provide performance feedback and support employee development initiatives.
Quality & Compliance
Ensure all products meet quality standards and customer specifications. Enforce company policies, safety regulations, and standard operating procedures. Conduct inspections and audits to maintain compliance with industry regulations.
Continuous Improvement
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce waste. Support Lean Manufacturing and 5S initiatives to optimize production flow. Collaborate with other departments to drive operational excellence.
Management Responsibilities
This position supervises or oversees the following positions on a daily basis. Production Technicians, CNC Machinists WORK Environment/Physical Attributes
Shift-based schedule (with weekends and holidays as required). Work in a manufacturing setting with exposure to machinery, noise, and varying temperatures. Standing for long periods and occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs. Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required. 3+ years of experience in CNC manufacturing environment. At least 1 year in a leadership role. Strong understanding of production processes, safety regulations, and quality standards. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Preferred Qualifications
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, engineering, or a related field preferred. Why Join Us?
