About the Role
The Infrastructure Supervisor is responsible for planning, organizing, and managing staff and overall IT infrastructure operations. This includes developing, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing data center environments, server infrastructure, cloud services, and service platforms. This role also oversees scheduling and directing activities to ensure quick, accurate resolution of hardware and software issues. What You’ll Do
Collaborate with senior leadership to align infrastructure strategy with organizational mission, vision, and strategic goals Identify how infrastructure can support business growth and increase operational efficiency Develop a technology roadmap outlining future-state infrastructure upgrades, new technologies, and system retirements Update the roadmap regularly to reflect evolving business needs and technology trends Assess current capacity and forecast future needs based on growth projections and emerging technologies Acquisition & Deployment
Collaborate with stakeholders to determine current and future needs for hardware, software, networking, and security systems Develop detailed technical specifications aligned with scalability, security, and compliance standards Evaluate vendor proposals based on cost, support, reliability, compatibility, and vendor reputation Manage vendor relationships and ensure service-level agreements (SLAs) and contracts deliver organizational value Operational Management
Implement and maintain monitoring tools to ensure system uptime and optimal performance Supervise daily operations of data centers, servers, storage, and network systems Lead infrastructure projects, ensuring alignment with strategic goals, timelines, and operational requirements Oversee system upgrades and migrations, ensuring minimal business disruption Resolve technical issues rapidly to reduce downtime and maintain service continuity Provide and oversee tier-three technical support to system users Supervise, mentor, and train team members to enhance productivity and foster professional growth Promote collaboration within the team and across departments What You’ll Bring
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field with 3–5 years of relevant experience; or 8+ years of IT infrastructure experience in lieu of degree Five or more years of experience supervising personnel Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage complex infrastructure environments Experience with datacenter operations, cloud services, server platforms, and monitoring tools Seniority level
