Service Plumbing Area Manager
IES Residential, a leading provider of integrated residential and commercial plumbing and HVAC solutions, is seeking an experienced Service Plumbing Area Manager to lead our plumbing operations within a defined territory.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, motivate, and mentor a team of plumbers to meet performance and safety goals.
Coordinate and schedule plumbing service projects, ensuring efficient labor and resource allocation.
Monitor project timelines, budgets, and quality, guaranteeing timely completion and customer satisfaction.
Maintain compliance with industry standards, building codes, and company policies.
Build and maintain strong client relationships, addressing concerns promptly.
Provide advanced technical support, troubleshoot complex service issues, and recommend solutions.
Identify training needs and facilitate continuous development of technical and customer service skills.
Manage inventory, tools, vehicles, and equipment, ensuring maintenance and efficient utilization.
Conduct performance evaluations, coaching, and development plans.
Implement cost‑saving initiatives while upholding quality and safety standards.
Promote a safety culture and conduct safety meetings, audits, and PPE compliance.
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of supervisory or managerial experience as a service plumber or residential plumbing technician.
Valid plumbing license as required by local/state regulations.
Strong technical knowledge of residential plumbing systems, codes, and equipment.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines.
Proficiency with project management software and digital tools.
Commitment to quality workmanship and safety practices.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
