Successful applicants will be located within York, PA. As an Energy Auditor, you will travel in a company‑provided vehicle within an assigned territory to meet with residential customers in their homes to complete residential energy audits. There is no overnight travel. Responsibilities
Learn to conduct home energy assessments & evaluations. Record and report necessary data by electronic or manual methods to adhere to program requirements. Troubleshoot technical problems that may arise during the installation of energy efficiency measures. Act as a local, customer‑facing program and company representative to customers, encouraging participation in the program and overcoming barriers to energy savings. Qualifications
0-1 year of relevant industry experience. High school diploma or GED. BPI Certification preferred; ability to obtain certification within 3‑6 months (training provided). Well‑spoken and a positive attitude. People person, comfortable with in‑home consulting. Ability to learn quickly and adapt on the fly. Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation & no history of major driving infractions. Physical Demands
Work under different weather conditions including extreme hot and cold weather. Sit, stand, or walk for extended periods of time. Crawl, climb, balance, kneel, crouch, or reach often working in crawl spaces and under mobile homes. Use repetitive hand motion and basic hand and power tools. Use of a step stool up to 6' for accessing attic space when necessary. Lift, carry or push up to 50 pounds as needed. Compensation
Target compensation: $23.55 per hour. Compensation range: $18.80 - $28.30 per hour. Currency: USD. Type: Hourly. Salary is determined based on internal equity, market data, applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications (e.g. JD/technology). Equal Opportunity Employer
