Senior Business & Product Strategist for Insights and Education is responsible for shaping the strategic direction of Schwab’s digital education experiences for Workplace Services. This role drives strategies that enhance financial literacy, improve engagement with Schwab’s workplace offerings, and deliver cohesive, customer‑centered education across digital channels.
What You’ll Do
Develop education strategies that align participant needs, market insights, and Schwab’s workplace services goals.
Partner with Workplace Services, Marketing, UX, and Technology to shape digital education experiences (e.g., retirement planning tools, learning modules, content strategy).
Translate complex retirement and financial concepts into clear strategic frameworks for digital engagement.
Define target audiences, value propositions, and participant journeys for education initiatives.
Market & Competitive Insight
Conduct competitive assessments and trend analyses in financial education and workplace benefits.
Identify gaps in Schwab’s current education offerings and recommend strategic enhancements.
Provide leadership with insights that guide investment decisions and prioritization.
Cross‑Functional Leadership
Serve as the strategic connector between Workplace Services, Marketing, UX, and Technology.
Lead strategic workshops and alignment sessions focused on participant education.
Develop strategic briefs and customer insights that guide execution teams (content creators, designers, engineers).
Strategic Roadmapping & Go‑to‑Market
Create integrated go‑to‑market strategies for new education tools and experiences.
Recommend high‑level product requirements, experience opportunities, and success metrics for education initiatives.
Ensure Schwab’s digital channels reflect a coherent and consistent education strategy.
Measurement & Optimization
Partner with analytics teams to define KPIs for education engagement and learning outcomes.
Evaluate performance to uncover insights and iterate on strategy.
Communicate findings and recommendations to leadership to influence future direction.

Comfortable navigating ambiguity and turning it into structured, actionable plans.

What You Have
10+ years in product strategy, business strategy, or education strategy roles.
Experience working within cross‑functional environments (product, engineering, UX, marketing, compliance).
Proven ability to lead strategic planning and opportunity analysis for education or engagement initiatives.
Familiarity with digital ecosystems (web, app, content platforms) and product development processes.
Strong analytical skills; comfortable with data, competitive intelligence, and business cases.
Excellent communication, storytelling, and stakeholder management abilities.
