Expected to begin in Spring 2026, this tenure‑track position will be responsible for teaching undergraduate courses including, but not limited to, Principles of Finance, elective courses in Finance aligned with the successful candidates’ expertise, and, possibly, Business Statistics. Student advisement, along with departmental, college, and university service is expected. Faculty are further expected to be actively engaged on campus and contribute to an energetic educational environment while maintaining an active research agenda. The Economics and Finance department offers the opportunity for our students to develop a broad understanding and perspective of the best principles and practices within the 21st‑century world of business. The School of Business & Economics is internationally accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB). We offer students a broad‑based education with a global perspective and an emphasis on experiential learning. As an institution that delivers challenging and high‑quality educational experiences to a diverse group of learners, the successful candidate must demonstrate an understanding of and sensitivity to diversity, inclusion, and equity‑minded policies, programs, and practices. The successful candidate may be asked to teach courses in a distance learning format. Required Qualifications:

Ph.D. in Finance or Ph.D. in Business with a concentration in Finance or research doctoral degree in a relevant field with equivalent expertise, from an AACSB accredited university Commitment to and evidence of excellence in teaching and service in an institution dedicated primarily to undergraduate education Willingness and ability to teach in online modalities Academically qualified, at the time of appointment, with respect to AACSB standards (A record of consistent publication of articles in scholarly journals (within the Finance discipline) or evidence of a promising research stream will be necessary to ensure qualification under AACSB) A demonstrated ability to work effectively and collegially with faculty, staff, and administrators Preferred Qualifications:

Ph.D. in Finance or Ph.D. in Business with a concentration in Finance A minimum of one year of relevant teaching experience in finance, quantitative finance (with experience in financial programming, i.e., Python), or capital markets at an AACSB accredited university A record of intellectual contributions and service to the finance discipline Experience with managing and utilizing Bloomberg terminals Salary
