The Role Telum
is seeking
CI Analyst SMEs
to strengthen CI posture, ensure intelligence oversight compliance, and deliver timely, decision-quality CI products. You’ll coordinate cross-community working groups, synthesize high-volume reporting, de-conflict information across sections, and independently produce operational and strategic CI assessments. You will manage CI source data, support asset validation, and advise commanders on signature-reduction standards, risks, and proper application.
What You’ll Do
Provide proactive CI advice, document/report indicators, and drive oversight compliance.
Lead/coordinate IC and DoD meetings and working groups; de-conflict reporting and requirements.
Research, produce, and deliver multimedia briefings and written CI products using CI/HUMINT reporting tools; review Contact, Lead, and IIRs and recommend corrective actions.
Manage source data in the
Integrated Defense Source Registration System (IDSRS) ; participate in
Asset Validation Panels
and conduct in-depth reviews of active assets.
Build all-source association matrices on CI-interest individuals.
Maintain and advise on
signature reduction
processes; ensure all standards are met prior to implementation.
Apply
F3EAD -aligned analysis and integrate adjacent INTs to produce actionable CI outputs.
Required Qualifications
8+ years
performing counterintelligence operations within a Joint SOF Task Force, Interagency Task Force, National Intelligence Agency, Law Enforcement Agency, Joint CI Activity, or Combatant Command.
8+ years
operational analysis experience in CI;
5+ years
in a managerial role supporting special operations is highly desired, including combat tours supporting
SMU/SOF
in an operational analysis function.
Working knowledge of
F3EAD
with broad familiarity across adjacent intelligence disciplines; proven ability to lead analytic efforts to finished products.
Advanced skill with the
HUMINT Operations Cycle ,
CI Support to HUMINT ,
Asset Risk Assessment System (ARMS) ,
Operational Risk Management ,
Patterns of Life , and at least one of:
Human Factors ,
Human Terrain ,
SIGINT Targeting ,
Convergence Analysis , or
Intelligence Training .
Expert understanding of CI theory, doctrine, laws, regulations, directives, systems, and tradecraft relevant to full-spectrum CI operations.
Excellent written and verbal communication; able to brief senior audiences and collaborate across joint/interagency teams.

Desired Skills
Recent USSOCOM/SOF CI experience.
Experience driving enterprise CI working groups and implementing oversight/remediation measures.
Familiarity with CI/HUMINT reporting systems and enterprise repositories.
