Advanced Security Operations Engineer
You will be supporting advanced security operations and working alongside the ATPG customer to understand operational requirements for designing and deploying network infrastructure. As part of a dynamic team, you will develop and maintain automation tools within a continuous integration/continuous deployment environment.
Responsibilities:
Design and maintain automated solutions for Catalyst Center, ISE, and SD-WAN environments
Build automation workflows and policies for provisioning, configuration, and security enforcement
Troubleshoot, optimize, and enhance automated processes for scalability and resiliency
Provide increased visibility of underlying systems and rules for the system administrators on the team; programmatically alert the team to items that require immediate attention
Utilize metrics to understand network health and identify issues
Emphasize customer communication and gather feedback on project status and results
Required Skills:
Strong knowledge of Cisco technologies, including Catalyst Center, ISE, Cisco SD-WAN, and enterprise routing/switching
Proficient in network automation and scripting
Expertise in enterprise network protocols and software defined networking
Experience with version control systems
Competency in a dedicated Linux environment
Experience automating manual processes
Nice to Have:
Industry certification such as CCIE/CCNP/Cisco DevNet
Experience deploying and running open-source tools at the agency
Experience working with containerization platforms
Experience Required:
12 years with Bachelor's degree in technical field, or 16 years without degree

TS/SCI with Polygraph required
