Provide
comprehensive pre- and post-transplant care
for patients with advanced heart failure. Assist in managing
mechanical circulatory support devices
(LVADs, ECMO, etc.) and post-transplant immunosuppression. Perform patient evaluations, diagnostic assessments, and implement evidence-based treatment plans. Collaborate with transplant surgeons and cardiologists in
rounding, patient management, and procedural assistance . Educate patients and families on transplant procedures, medications, and long-term care plans. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and research efforts to advance cardiac transplant outcomes. Qualifications:
Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA-C)
licensed in Maryland (or eligible for licensure). Prior experience in cardiac surgery, transplant, critical care, or cardiology
strongly preferred. Expertise in
post-transplant care, mechanical circulatory support, and advanced heart failure management
a plus. Strong clinical skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and commitment to
