Position Overview

Dongjin Semichem Texas Inc. is seeking an experienced

Quality Assurance Manager

to lead and oversee the Quality Assurance Department. The QA Manager will be responsible for establishing, implementing, and maintaining a robust quality management system to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, customer expectations, and internal quality standards. This role requires a strategic leader who can manage and develop the QA team (Technicians and Specialists), drive continuous improvement initiatives, and partner cross-functionally to ensure product quality and reliability throughout the manufacturing process.

The successful candidate will serve as the primary point of accountability for quality-related functions and will ensure that the company maintains the highest levels of product integrity, customer satisfaction, and compliance.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Provide leadership and direction to the Quality Assurance team, including hiring, training, mentoring, and performance management of QA Technicians and QA Specialists.

Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) to comply with applicable industry standards, regulatory guidelines, and customer requirements.

Oversee product testing, calibration/validation programs, environmental monitoring, and all quality control/assurance processes.

Establish and enforce quality policies, procedures, and documentation standards to support consistent and compliant operations.

Collaborate with production, engineering, and sales teams to address customer needs, resolve quality issues, and support new product introductions.

Serve as the primary contact for customer audits, regulatory inspections, and third-party assessments.

Lead investigations of non-conformances, root cause analyses, and implementation of corrective/preventive actions (CAPAs).

Track, analyze, and report key quality metrics to senior leadership, recommending improvements to increase efficiency and reduce risk.

Champion continuous improvement initiatives within the QA/QC function and across departments.

Ensure timely product release in alignment with quality standards and business needs.

May perform additional duties as assigned by executive management.

Requirements / Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field (Master’s degree or quality certification such as ASQ CQE/CQM preferred).

Minimum of 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance/Quality Control within chemical manufacturing, semiconductor, or related industry.

At least 2 years of supervisory or management experience with demonstrated ability to lead and develop a team.

Strong knowledge of quality management systems, regulatory compliance, ISO standards, and auditing practices.

Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.

Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate technical issues to non-technical stakeholders.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and quality management software.

Bilingual in Korean a plus.

Based in Killeen, Texas, with ability to travel up to 20% as required.
