Business Intelligence & Data Analyst At My Funded Futures, we’re transforming the world of proprietary trading by giving traders the capital, tools, and community they need to succeed.
We blend innovation, transparency, and performance to create opportunity — helping traders scale faster and smarter. If you’re passionate about fintech, financial markets, and data‑driven growth, you’ll fit right in.
Explore our open roles below and see how you can help us shape the future of funded trading.
About Us MyFundedFutures (MFF) is a rapidly growing futures evaluation and trading firm powering the next generation of global traders. We combine advanced technology, real‑time risk systems, deep capital markets expertise, and a commitment to transparency to deliver an unmatched trader experience. We operate in a fast‑paced, data‑driven environment and are scaling globally.
We are looking for a Business Intelligence & Data Analyst who thrives in ambiguity, acts as a builder, and will help architect the data foundation for the next phase of MFF’s growth.
Purpose of Role The BI & Data Analyst will play a central role in building MFF’s data insights engine. This role will be responsible for transforming raw data from multiple systems—including trading platforms, CRM, risk systems, marketing analytics, support platforms, and financial data—into actionable insights that guide decisions across product, operations, finance, risk, and growth.
You will design dashboards, automate reporting, structure data pipelines, and partner with leadership to develop KPIs that measure the health of the business. This is both a strategic and hands‑on position ideal for someone who wants to influence how a global trading firm scales.
Key Responsibilities 1. Data Management & Infrastructure
Build and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines connecting trading data, CRM data (e.g., HubSpot), support platforms, payments, risk systems, and other operational tools.
Partner with engineering to ensure data quality, governance, and consistency across the organization.
Develop scalable data models and schemas to support analytics, forecasting, and operational automation.
Implement tools for data extraction, cleaning, and normalization.
2. Business Intelligence & Reporting
Own MFF’s BI environment (e.g., Power BI, Looker, Tableau, or similar).
Build dashboards for executive leadership, product, risk, operations, and customer support.
Develop automated weekly, monthly, and real‑time reports to track key KPIs as required.
3. Advanced Analytics & Insights
Conduct deep‑dive analyses on trading behaviour, risk signals, trader churn, evaluation success rates, anomalies, and financial performance.
Support pricing and product decisions through model‑building, scenario analysis, and sensitivity testing.
Identify leading indicators for risk events and operational bottlenecks.
Partner with product and engineering to inform the roadmap using data‑backed insights.
4. Cross‑Functional Support
Work closely with:
COO on operational analytics and performance monitoring
Risk Team on trader behaviour patterns and real‑time risk insights
Finance on revenue/cost forecasting and margin analysis
Marketing on funnel optimisation
Product on product analytics
Support on ticket volumes, SLAs, and quality metrics
Act as an internal consultant—helping teams translate business questions into analytical frameworks.
Qualifications Technical Skills
Strong SQL expertise (PostgreSQL, MySQL, BigQuery, Snowflake, or equivalent).
Experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, Metabase, etc.).
Familiarity with Python or R for data manipulation and statistical analysis.
Experience designing ETL/ELT pipelines; familiarity with tools like Airflow, DBT, Fivetran, Stitch, etc.
Strong understanding of data modelling concepts (star schema, fact/dimension tables).
Ability to integrate with APIs and webhooks from trading platforms and SaaS systems.
Domain / Industry Experience (Preferred)
Exposure to capital markets, futures trading, prop firms, or brokerage operations.
Understanding of risk concepts (drawdowns, leverage, volatility, liquidation thresholds, etc.).
Experience analysing financial time‑series data.
Familiarity with operational and compliance needs of trading businesses.
Soft Skills
Highly analytical with exceptional problem‑solving abilities.
Ability to translate complex data into simple, clear narratives.
Thrives in fast‑paced, ambiguous, founder‑led environments.
Strong communication skills, especially with non‑technical stakeholders.
Self‑starter with the ability to build from 0 → 1.
