Position Objective/Summary: This position is responsible for driving strategic insight and data informed decision making through a blend of pricing analysis, sales forecasting, market research, and commercial support.

This position has responsibility for analyzing, developing, and maintaining competitive pricing structures and strategies to enable CLARK to position itself in the marketplace to maximize sales and margins both for both Aftermarket Parts & Products. The Commercial Pricing Specialist will work with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Production and Engineering teams to understand operational requirements, build cost models, and recommend profitable pricing structures. The Commercial Pricing Specialist works with complex data examining industry standards and pricing strategies of competitors to help the business determine and set competitive prices.

Essential Functions: PRICING

Develop recommended price strategies for Management to maximize sales and margin.

Prepare for and lead periodic pricing review meetings with upper Management.

Monitor financial performance of pricing decisions and provide actionable recommendations to improve margin and sales outcomes.

Establish and maintain Pricing models for Aftermarket Parts.

Communicate and distribute quarterly price books to dealers and other partners.

Perform competitive analysis on parts – segmenting analysis by volume, price, competition and commodity. Conduct analysis vs other OEM parts and against TVH.

Establish profitability goals for parts commodities. Work closely with ARSM’s, and Parts Commodity specialists to ensure goals are understood and maintained

Establish and maintain CLARK dealer net and list prices and other special sell prices in accordance with established pricing strategies and policies.

Manage all North America price pages. Ensure all systems using these price pages are kept current. Communicated updates to CLARK dealers, according to policy.

Perform competitive analysis on all new models prior to model launch. Provide product team with estimated market pricing for new models.

Develop and maintain CLARK pricing models to measure margin and competitive price performance.

Establish profitability goals for Trucks, Price page options and new ESQ’s. Work closely with CLARK Product Specialist to ensure goals are understood and maintained.

Manage and control special pricing requirements by specific customer accounts.

Determine appropriate discounts for North American Operations and discounting, within appropriate guidelines, while maintaining level playing field between products & competitive brands.

Responsible for implementing pricing actions and responsible for creating and maintaining the integrity of product price database.

Develop and maintain pricing policy and procedure documentation.

Ensure all pricing activity is executed, approved, and documented per policy.

REPORTING & ANALYSIS

Develop and maintain sales KPIs, dealer performance dashboards, and reporting tools using Power BI.

Support sales forecasting and business planning by analyzing dealer performance, install base data, market demand, and product trends.

MARKETING SUPPORT

Conduct strategic market research to support product planning and positioning

Perform additional duties to support the Sales and Marketing team as required.

Coordinate with (A)RSMs and dealers to collect commercial insights and develop ROI inputs for new product / commodity proposals.

Minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required in Business, Supply Chain, Accounting, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Marketing, or related field or equivalent experience. Prior experience in the forklift industry is a plus.

Strong mathematical and analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power BI.

Demonstrated ability to gather, analyze, and synthesize data from various sources to drive business insights.

Understanding of commercial strategies, pricing models, and market research techniques.

Excellent communication skills and ability to interact cross functionally with internal teams and external partners.

Detail oriented with strong organizational and project management abilities.

Self-motivated and proactive with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Must be authorized to work in the U.S. indefinitely without sponsorship.
