Savion is pursuing significant opportunities across the U.S. The EPC-Procurement Manager plays a critical role focusing on procurement strategy and execution for large-scale renewable projects (Solar and Storage), ensuring alignment with business objectives while driving efficiency, innovation, and market competitiveness. The Procurement Manager will report to the Director, Procurement while working intra-departmentally among the EPC department and wider Savion business.

Responsibilities

Contract Management:

Lead the preparation, review, negotiation, execution and performance management of contracts for equipment and services supporting utility-scale renewable projects. Provide post-award contract administration during project execution.

Procurement Strategy:

Develop and implement category strategies aligned with organizational goals and market trends. Drive safe-harbor strategies and strategic allocation of equipment to maximize portfolio value.

Value Optimization:

Streamline category portfolios to reduce cost and complexity while improving supplier performance. Identify and implement supply chain improvement opportunities.

Market Intelligence:

Build insights into market dynamics, emerging technologies, and supplier capabilities (domestic and international) to inform sourcing decisions.

Tendering & Negotiation:

Conduct tenders, evaluate bids, and lead negotiations with suppliers in accordance with Savion processes and best practices.

Compliance & Risk Management:

Ensure adherence to Savion business and procurement processes, balancing compliance requirements with commercial judgment. Identify and mitigate risks related to supply continuity, compliance, and cost volatility.

HSSE Leadership:

Support Goal Zero aspirations by implementing robust contractor safety management practices and aligning procurement activities with Shell’s HSSE standards.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

Partner with internal teams to understand procurement needs and propose competitive solutions. Constructively challenge business demand and practices to drive efficiency and value.

Supplier Relationship Management:

Develop strategic relationships with key suppliers to ensure resilience and continuous performance improvement across HSSE, cost, and operational metrics.

Cross-Functional Engagement:

Connect with EPC Services, global Shell CP Renewable Power teams, and other business units to share best practices and leverage synergies.

Leadership Communication:

Prepare and present recommendations to management with clear justifications. Communicate effectively across all organizational levels.

Team Contribution:

Build strong working relationships within the immediate team and contribute constructively to shared goals.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, Supply Chain, Construction Management, or related field (MBA preferred).

Minimum 6 years of experience in project procurement or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Proven experience in procurement strategy, portfolio management, and contract administration within complex projects.

Expertise in market analysis, supplier negotiations, and performance-based contracting, including creative commercial schemes and incentive structures.

Familiarity with solar, battery storage, and onshore wind technologies; understanding of U.S. regulatory and political frameworks is a plus

Strong ability to collaborate and influence senior stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams.

Ability to identify and mature opportunities, deliver projects on time and within budget, and apply sound commercial judgment

Ability to manage complexity, adapt to uncertainty, and address strategic, technical, legal, financial, and commercial issues.

Excellent communication, facilitation, and engagement skills with suppliers, partners, and internal teams.

CP experience in M&A and advanced commercial acumen in contractor performance management and negotiations.
