Part Time, Hourly, Non-Exempt, At Will, Onsite Come join our team . The ICA Store is hiring a part time Retail Sales Associate (RSA). This position offers two shifts totaling 15 hours per week as follows: Wednesdays 9:30 am – 5:30 pm and Thursdays 1:30 pm – 9:30 pm Overview

We are looking for dynamic, well spoken, customer service oriented individuals who are interested in contemporary art & design. All ICA employees are required to reside in Massachusetts and within a reasonable commuting distance from our Seaport location as of their first day of work. Responsibilities

Operating the POS system and performing sales to the store’s customers. Providing a high level of customer service to store visitors. Maintaining the store appearance on a daily basis with cleaning, merchandising, etc. Reconciling the cash drawer at the end of the day. Performing closing reports. Restocking merchandise. Keeping current on all merchandise & store trends. Maintaining a presentable appearance and following the dress code provided by store management. Keeping informed about the museum’s exhibitions, and many programs. Aiding in the organization of the stock room. Opening and/or closing the store. Ability and willingness to sell memberships when appropriate. Weekend hours are mandatory, as well as some additional evenings and holidays. Qualifications

High School Diploma Pleasant friendly attitude Operating the POS system and performing sales assisting store customers at checkout Ability to work collegially, professionally and collaboratively with a diverse group of constituents including staff, visitors and vendors Providing a high level of customer service to store visitors Availability to work 15 flexible hours including evening, weekend shifts, and holidays Physical Requirements

Prolonged periods of remaining stationary, standing and/or moving about throughout the store and museum. Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds. Ability to move about in an office to access files, printers, etc. Must be able to exchange accurate information with customers, staff, departments, and with diverse and multigenerational visitors. Pay Range

$19.00 – $19.50 per hour The wage range for this role accounts for a variety of factors used to make compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets, experience and professional training, and the organization’s internal compensation structure. It is typical for a new hire to enter their role at the lower end of the stated range. At the ICA, compensation decisions are dependent on facts and circumstances of each case. How to Apply
