Licensed Practical Nurse – Full-Time 1st Shift

Job Overview Under the supervision of the RN Unit Manager or Director of Nursing, a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will serve as a licensed caregiver, responsible for the safety and care of assigned residents/patients throughout a shift. Duties include coordination, implementation, and evaluation of the resident’s plan of care, supervision of nursing assistants, and adherence to state practice regulations.
Responsibilities
Provide nursing care that follows approved plans of care and standards of practice.
Coordinate and implement care activities and evaluate outcomes.
Supervise nursing assistant activities to ensure resident safety.
Follow all center policies, procedures, and the State Nurse Practice Act.
Required Education & Experience
Licensed in the State as an LPN.
Current CPR certification.
Proficiency with nursing supplies and equipment (feeding pumps, oxygen, medication carts, etc.).
Ability to calculate drug dosages accurately.
Meet all health requirements mandated by law.
Effective communication with residents, families, volunteers, and staff.
Fluent in English and basic computer literacy.
