Title: Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) – PRN

Lifepoint Health’s Resolute Rehabilitation at Cornerstone Specialty Hospitals in Round Rock is a 12‑bed inpatient unit focused on helping patients recover from serious illness, injury, or surgery, especially those transitioning from intensive care.
Unit Highlights:
Specialized rehab services for stroke, brain injury, spinal cord injury, orthopedic trauma, neurological disorders, amputation, and other complex conditions.
Patients typically receive 15 hours of therapy per week with a multidisciplinary team.
First floor location with advanced rehab equipment.
As a
PRN Speech Language Pathologist , you will play a vital role in evaluating and treating individuals with speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders, supporting patient recovery and communication improvement.
Essential Functions
Assess speech, language, and swallowing abilities.
Develop and implement treatment plans based on patient needs.
Provide education to patients and families regarding therapy goals.
Document evaluations, treatments, and patient progress accurately.
Collaborate with healthcare teams on care coordination.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Additional Information
Strong communication skills and clinical judgment required.
Qualifications and Requirements
Education: Master’s degree in Speech‑Language Pathology.
Experience: Experience in acute or rehab settings preferred.
License: Current SLP license and ASHA certification.
CPR certification required.
