Safely perform provider‑ordered radiographic examinations, including proper patient positioning and immobilization. Set up and adjust immobilization equipment, ensuring patient safety and professionalism. Accurately document patient encounters in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR). Select appropriate electronic and technical factors for image quality and patient safety. Maintain clinical and administrative skills to meet patient care and operational needs. Direct and practice sterile techniques to prevent cross‑contamination. Report immediately any equipment malfunction or required repairs. Other duties include ordering supplies, lab and diagnostic tests, patient registration, scheduling, phone triage, cash handling, check‑in/check‑out, and scribing duties as needed. Employment Qualifications
Associate degree (2‑year) or higher. Completion of an approved X‑ray Technician certification program. Registration with the American Registry of Radiographic Technicians (ARRT). Virginia state licensure. Preferred: One year of imaging and/or medical assisting experience. What We Offer
