The facility is a state‑of‑the‑art medical center with over 300 licensed beds, a teaching hospital, and residency & fellowship programs hosting more than 80 trainees across specialties. Our award‑winning staff includes over 350 physicians representing almost every specialty.
Responsibilities
The Registered Nurse is responsible for the delivery of safe patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
Provides direct patient care within the scope of practice.
Directs and guides patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining standards of care within the Medical/Surgical Unit.
Is directly responsible and accountable for the care given to assigned patients.
Communicates with physicians regarding changes in the patient's clinical condition, including cardiac monitoring, diagnostic study results, and symptomatology.
Responds quickly and accurately to changes in condition and/or response to treatment.
Qualifications
Current and valid state RN license.
Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintained thereafter.
Current ACLS certificate within 30 days upon hire and maintained thereafter; preferred.
Previous acute‑care hospital experience preferred.
Ventilator management experience preferred.
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
