Position Title
TMS Psychiatric Provider (Psychiatrist, Physician Assistant or PMHNP), Part Time
Position Summary The Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) Provider will assist in administering TMS therapy to patients with treatment-resistant depression and OCD at Rogue Valley TMS. The TMS Psychiatric Provider will work with the Psychiatrist, ensuring patient safety, proper treatment protocols, and high-quality care. This role requires attention to detail, patient interaction skills, and the ability to follow established protocols for TMS therapy.
Job Responsibilities
Educate patients on the TMS process, expected outcomes, and potential side effects.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records (EHR).
Conduct patient assessments, including symptom tracking and treatment progress.
Follow safety and compliance guidelines related to TMS therapy.
Provide support and reassurance to patients undergoing treatment.
Job Requirements and Qualifications Minimum Required Education
Physician Assistant or PMHNP.
Completion of an accredited PA or PMHNP program.
Completion of a Psychiatric Residency program.
Minimum Required Experience
Strong ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple patients.
Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Experience
1+ years of experience in behavioral health, psychiatry, or neuromodulation therapies.
Licenses/Certifications
Active and unrestricted MD/DO, Physician Assistant (PA) or Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) license in Oregon.
DEA registration for prescription privileges.
CPR/BLS certification.
Other Skills Required
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow clinical protocols.
Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care.
High level of professionalism, ethics, and confidentiality.
Ability to work independently while maintaining physician collaboration.
