Job Description:
Join Prime Time Healthcare as a registered ICU/critical care RN to provide high‑quality patient care in Ellsworth, Maine. In this role, you will deliver bedside nursing services, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and support acute medical/surgical patients requiring complex interventions.
Responsibilities:
Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients, including monitoring vitals, administering medications, and performing advanced nursing procedures.
Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
Monitor patient status, assess clinical changes, and respond promptly to emergencies.
Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and in a timely manner.
Provide patient and family education and support during hospitalization.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or related field and current RN license in Maine.
Minimum 1 year ICU or critical care experience.
Certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required; Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) is a plus.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work nights and adapt to a 13‑week contract schedule.
