Kearney, NE – Kearney Cancer Center (opening Fall 2025). This position requires a compassionate, experienced Infusion Certified Pharmacy Technician to support the oncology team during the grand opening.

Key Responsibilities

Compound IV medications using aseptic technique in a cleanroom environment.

Ensure compliance with USP‑800 for hazardous drug handling.

Maintain cleanliness and documentation logs in the IV room.

Perform accurate calculations for chemotherapy, biotherapy, and other infusions.

Track infusion equipment and pharmaceutical inventory.

Enter medication information accurately into the Nucleus System.

Handle and dispose of hazardous materials per OSHA and NIOSH standards.

Order and restock medications and supplies.

Collaborate with pharmacy, nursing, and administrative teams.

Assist in training new staff.

Support quality assurance processes and compliance with CPN policies.

What You Need To Bring

Registered Pharmacy Technician license in Nebraska – required.

High school diploma or equivalency.

Minimum 1 year of IV compounding experience.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Strong organizational and documentation skills.

Knowledge of IV medications, supplies, and safety procedures.

Schedule & Work Environment

Day shift only – Monday through Friday.

No weekends or holidays.

Full‑time or part‑time opportunities.

Physical activities include walking, standing, lifting, and manual dexterity.

Work in highly regulated sterile environments with occasional stress.
