Job Overview
Join our team at Cleveland Clinic Indian River Hospital in sunny Florida’s Treasure Coast. As an RN in the Cardiac Cath Lab, you will provide direct nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterizations, a complex invasive imaging procedure.

Schedule and Work Hours Days: 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM with on‑call requirements.
Responsibilities
Provide direct nursing care.
Implement, monitor, evaluate, update and revise patient care plans.
Monitor, record, document and communicate patients’ conditions.
Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
Assess and coordinate patients’ discharge needs.
Educate patients and their families.
Minimum Qualifications
Graduate from an accredited professional nursing school (ADN or BSN).
Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
One year of current acute‑care RN experience in a hospital setting or licensed military RN experience.
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through AHA or American Red Cross.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification through AHA or ALS from American Red Cross within one year of hire.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (BSN).
Electrical Physiology experience.
Cath Lab experience.
Physical Requirements
Full range of motion, including handling and lifting patients.
Manual and finger dexterity, eye‑hand coordination.
Standing and walking for extended periods.
Corrected vision and hearing within normal range.
Ability to work under stressful conditions and irregular hours.
Exposure to communicable diseases and/or body fluids.
Medium Work: Exerting 20‑50 pounds force occasionally, 10‑25 pounds frequently, and >10 pounds constantly to move objects.
Physical demand exceeds light work.
Personal Protective Equipment
Follow standard precautions using PPE as required.
