Overview Sentara Port Warwick is now hiring a Flexi Vascular Lab Technologist Student for the Hampton Roads area in VA! To include coverage for Sentara Careplex, Sentara Williamsburg, Sentara Obici and surrounding areas as needed.

Hours Monday-Friday, Dayshift 8a-4:30p. Flexible and variable schedule based on candidate availability and clinic needs.

Responsibilities This position is responsible for the utilization of specialized equipment and under the direction of a qualified physician, performs procedures on patients. The Cardiovascular Tech Student acts as a first assistant during diagnostic and therapeutic vascular procedures.

Education

High School Diploma

Enrolled in current Vascular tech accredited program

Certification/Licensure

BLS/ Basic Life Support required

Must have completed enough clinical hours in an accredited cardiovascular technology program that the student may use employed hours towards graduation requirements (currently enrolled in last year of school/program)
