Summary:

Responsible for the administration, interpretation and evaluation of tests and measurements. Plans and modifies treatment programs. Works with neonatal through geriatric patients with clinical competency, as applicable. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned.

Education:

Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology/Communication Sciences and Disorders.

Experience:

Completion of Clinical Fellowship.

After completion of 3 full years/beginning of 4th year may be eligible for Speech Language Pathologist Level II.

Preferred: Competency in performing Modified Barium Swallow Exams, Fiberoptic Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing (FEES), Spanish Proficiency.

Certifications / Licensure:

Intern License from the state of Texas prior to orientation (new graduates).

Texas State License and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA.

Active healthcare provider Basic Life Support.

AHA Healthcare Provider BLS within 60 days of hire.
