Job Summary

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) plays a crucial role in providing professional nursing care to residents of various ages in long-term care settings. Working under the supervision of registered nurses or physicians, you will utilize your knowledge of nursing principles to meet the physical and psychological needs of our residents efficiently.

Key responsibilities include:

Ensuring the health, comfort, and safety of residents.

Administering medications and treatments as required.

Contributing to the assessment of residents and responding effectively to emergencies.

Documenting resident interactions and outcomes related to care.

Collaborating with healthcare professionals within an interdisciplinary care team.

Providing counseling and education to residents and their families regarding prevention and treatment.

Qualifications

We are looking for candidates who meet the following qualifications:

Graduation from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). An Associate degree in practical nursing is preferred.

For IV therapy/management skills, completion of an approved program or course as required in North Dakota.

Must have a minimum of 400 hours of supervised clinical experience or experience at another facility.

Currently holds a valid, unencumbered LPN license with State Nursing board approval.

Commitment to complete required competencies, certifications, and continuing education units annually.
