$60,000–$63,000 / year (top of range based on experience)

Job Description: Addison Group is partnering with one of our established healthcare clients to identify a Revenue Cycle Supervisor to lead their insurance billing and accounts receivable function. This role is ideal for a hands‑on leader who enjoys mentoring teams, driving process improvements, and ensuring timely reimbursement from payers.
The supervisor will oversee a small team of insurance specialists and play a key role in claim resolution, denial management, and payer communication while supporting revenue cycle leadership initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and support a team of 7–9 insurance and billing specialists, promoting accountability and collaboration
Monitor daily accounts receivable activity and identify trends impacting reimbursement
Investigate unpaid, underpaid, or denied claims and ensure timely follow‑up and resolution
Prepare, submit, and refile insurance claims as needed, including appeals for denials
Review claim documentation for accuracy and completeness prior to submission
Serve as a subject matter resource for insurance, billing, and reimbursement questions
Maintain strong working knowledge of payer guidelines, CPT and ICD‑10 coding, and EOB interpretation
Build and maintain relationships with insurance carrier representatives
Communicate denial trends, workflow challenges, and recommended solutions to revenue cycle leadership
Coordinate electronic payments and remittance processes with insurance carriers
Stay current on payer updates and regulatory changes and share key information with the team
Ensure compliance with HIPAA, internal policies, and billing best practices
Participate in meetings and support departmental initiatives as needed
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of medical insurance billing or accounts receivable experience
High school diploma or equivalent required
Prior supervisory or lead experience strongly preferred
Working knowledge of insurance follow‑up, denials, and reimbursement processes
Familiarity with CPT and ICD‑10 codes (certification helpful but not required)
Strong communication, organization, and problem‑solving skills
Ability to adapt in a fast‑paced environment and support a team through change
Professional demeanor with a strong work ethic and commitment to accuracy
