If hired from this pool, the instructor will be under the general supervision of the relevant department chair. The instructor is responsible for teaching undergraduate and/or graduate courses. In addition to preparing for and holding classes [face-to-face, hybrid, and/or online], teaching involves maintaining currency in the content area related to the teaching assignment, evaluating students’ work, assessing student outcomes, providing regular and substantive feedback on student work, maintaining appropriate records, and holding office hours. In addition, workload may involve advising students and/or providing other service to the department. The CBA has over 3,000 students enrolled in one of the eight majors offered. It also offers seven minors andparticipatesin the UW System’s online MBA consortium. Fully accredited by AACSB International, the CBA is recognized for high-quality faculty, staff, programs, and students, andmaintainsstrong regional and global partnerships. A robustAssurance ofLearning program regularly evaluates undergraduate and graduate outcomes, supporting accountability and continuous improvement.
