Position Overview Prn coverage for as needed at clinic with 3 shifts M-F: 7a-3p, 3p-11p, 11p-7a. 3rd shift priority.
Job Summary The Paramedic coordinates on site clinic care, oversees evaluation and case management of workplace injuries, and ensures compliance with health surveillance programs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Respond to emergencies promptly.
Administer basic first aid and assess injuries/illnesses.
Perform drug, hearing, pulmonary function, and fit tests as necessary.
Communicate with medical professionals and treatment facilities regarding further action.
Follow patient care plans from physician or third-party providers.
Communicate worksite incidents, hazards, and injury prevention to client and site personnel.
Maintain a collaborative, trusting environment to reduce injury risks.
Attend meetings and serve on committees as requested.
Required Education, Skills & Abilities
Valid state license.
2+ years previous industry experience.
2+ years occupational health experience a plus.
Current CPR/First Aid certifications.
CAOHC certified Occupational Hearing Conservationist a plus.
DOT trained breath alcohol technician a plus.
DOT trained urine drug screening a plus.
Proficient with MS Office.
Prior knowledge of Occupational Health, OSHA Recordability and Workers Compensation preferred.
Strong interpersonal skills and relationship building.
Proof of COVID-19 vaccination may be required.
