TravelNurseSource is partnering with Magnet Medical to find a qualified Psych RN to deliver direct patient care in the psychiatric unit. The RN will use the nursing process and provide comprehensive, compassionate care to residents.
Responsibilities:
Deliver direct patient care using the nursing process for psychiatric patients.
Implement safety protocols and provide crisis intervention.
Collaborate with psychiatrists, nurses, and interdisciplinary team for treatment plans.
Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the electronic medical record.
Qualifications:
Graduate of an RN program.
Previous work experience as an RN.
Current unrestricted RN license in NE.
Ability to lift up to 80 lbs with proper techniques.
Capacity to stand and walk 2–5 hours at a time.
Exposure to chemicals, radiation, infectious disease, and bloodborne pathogens acceptable with proper precautions.
