Position Overview We are seeking a
CSAT Solar Panel Closeout Technician
to support final closeout and finishing activities for satellite solar panel assemblies. This role focuses on straightforward, repetitive tasks that support production flow and quality completion. No prior aerospace or technical experience is required — this position is ideal for dependable individuals who can follow instructions, work safely, and contribute to a team‑based manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Perform final closeout tasks on solar panel assemblies per work instructions
Assist with cleaning, inspection preparation, and protective covering of panels
Apply labels, fasteners, or protective materials as required
Support handling and movement of solar panel hardware under supervision and follow standard work instructions, safety procedures, and quality requirements
Maintain cleanroom discipline, FOD control, and proper tool usage
Report visible defects or issues to leads or quality personnel
Support general production tasks as assigned to keep workflow moving
This position is assigned to
Shift 1‑Days:
Monday–Thursday, 7:30 a.m.–5:30 p.m. (4×10s). Depending on business needs, this role may also have opportunities on:
Shift 2‑Nights:
Monday–Thursday, 6:00 p.m.–4:30 a.m. (4×10s)
Shift 3‑Weekends:
Friday–Sunday, 6:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m. (3×12s)
Qualifications Education
High school diploma or GED preferred but not required
Experience
No prior manufacturing or aerospace experience required
On‑the‑job training will be provided
Preferred Qualifications
Prior hands‑on, warehouse, or production experience
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions consistently
Soft Skills
Reliable and punctual
Willingness to learn and take direction
Team‑oriented and cooperative attitude
Ability to perform repetitive tasks with consistency
Technology Stack
Basic hand tools
Paper or digital work instructions and checklists
MES or production tracking systems (experience preferred, not required)
Physical Requirements
Ability to work in a manufacturing environment for extended periods
Ability to stand, bend, and reach throughout the shift
Ability to lift up to 30 lbs as required
Ability to handle delicate hardware carefully
