The Home Health (PRN) Speech Language Pathologist will provide speech therapy services to patients in their homes. The Speech Language Pathologist will work with patients who have communication and swallowing disorders, develop treatment plans to improve speech and language skills, and also support patients with cognitive and memory impairments. Responsibilities
Conduct assessments to determine patients' speech and language abilities Develop treatment plans to help patients improve their speech and language skills Work with patients who have cognitive and memory impairments to develop strategies to improve memory and cognitive function Provide education to patients and families on speech and language disorders and treatment options Document patient progress and communicate with other healthcare professionals as needed Adhere to all state and federal regulations and guidelines Qualifications
Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology Current state license to practice as a Speech Language Pathologist Minimum of 1 year of experience in home health Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong organizational and time management skills
