Shift: Monday – Friday, as needed – 7:30 am – 4 pm (No weekends, no holidays, no call).

Job Summary As a Clinical Nurse II, you will provide and supervise direct and indirect total nursing care in the Davis Ambulatory Surgery Center (PACU). You will use the nursing process to achieve departmental goals and participate in advanced care, educational activities, committees, research projects, and other health‑related projects.
Responsibilities
Provide and supervise direct and indirect total nursing care for patients.
Plan and provide advanced or specialized nursing care guided by the DUHS Professional Practice model.
Participate in the clinical ladder program, educational activities, departmental committees, research projects, and other health‑related projects.
Deliver exemplary patient‑centered care and maintain respectful relationships with patients, families, and colleagues.
Adhere to all rules, regulations, and accrediting body requirements.
Requirements
Previous work experience as a clinical nurse (1+ year preferred, at least 1 year required for a CN2 role).
Graduation from an accredited Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (or higher), Associate’s Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma program.
Registered RN with North Carolina State Board of Nursing or Compact RN licensure.
All RN without a Bachelor’s degree must enroll in an appropriate BSN program within two years of start date and complete within five years.
Preferred Qualifications
Recent critical care experience.
